Federal Court to hear medical exemption legal challenge by end of year

As we previously advised, a Notice of Appeal was filed in the federal court in late July.

We are pleased to report that the case will be heard by the Federal Court before the end of the year, with the exact date yet to be fixed.

Work on the case is well under way, but for the case to continue, we need your help!

Yesterday, the lawyers advised that they have revised their estimate for running the case, upwards to $55,000, which does not include the amount of a potential adverse costs order in the event of losing. The type of costs incurred to date include solicitors’ and barristers’ fees, a medical practitioner report, transcript fees, and other disbursements such as printing.

The current fundraising goal is $60,000 (with $46,000 raised to date), so further donations will be gratefully received.

Even small amounts will be incredibly helpful, so please DONATE what you can!

You can also assist the plaintiff to reach their goal by sharing their fundraising page Vaccine Medical Exemptions Legal Challenge with your family and friends and asking them to make a donation.

Thank you for your ongoing support.
